‘At Home In the Southern Uplands: a Painter's Child’ is an exhibition of recent oil paintings including a display of a current project of grotesque maquettes for Leicester Cathedral. It is a solo show of 30 paintings at the new Biggar & Upper Clydesdale Museum. The work is a direct, fresh response to this unique landscape of the Southern Uplands and explores the themes of motherhood, childhood, pregnancy and the fear often associated with them. She combines a singular sense of perspective with copious colour. Each canvas, a visceral distillation, depicts the cycle of life.

Reception: Drinks & Canapés 12-4pm on Saturday 12th May with guest critic Clare Henry at 3pm
